So much action and suspence in this book！ Veronica finding out who she is and Alex realizing what he can become。 Love Gwen and the gang。 Cannot wait to see what happens in the next series！

Jen did a fabulous job wrapping up Veronica's story in Demon Blood the third book in the Royal Vampire series。 This book was all action， excitement， and surprises， I loved every moment。Ronnie has adjusted well to the supernatural world and is now a badass supernatural。 Now Ronnie is starting to figure out the things she didn't get before。 She's understanding more about her new world， working to understand the political dangers， and helping to make her new supernatural community better。 Not only Jen did a fabulous job wrapping up Veronica's story in Demon Blood the third book in the Royal Vampire series。 This book was all action， excitement， and surprises， I loved every moment。Ronnie has adjusted well to the supernatural world and is now a badass supernatural。 Now Ronnie is starting to figure out the things she didn't get before。 She's understanding more about her new world， working to understand the political dangers， and helping to make her new supernatural community better。 Not only has Ronnie bonded with people who consider her family but she considers them family as well and she's also has found her other half in her soulmate， Alex。 Alex has also turned a corner。 I didn't like him in Sterlyn's story and even at the beginning of this series he wasn't my favorite person but Alex has grown and changed for the better since meeting Ronnie and I'm starting to realize that he's not as bad as he could have been。 I have actually come to the point that I like Alex now， he is protective of Ronnie while actually listening to what she is saying。 Not to mention he seems to actually want what's best for his people and is actively trying to do better。Jen has outdone herself with the plot of this one。 Not only did she incorporate a brand-new supernatural but she's added new lore to the mix。 More of Ronnie's backstory was given， there were some shocking revelations and a couple of plot twists。 I loved that Sterlyn and the gang are still an intricate part of the story and have fully accepted Ronnie and Alex。 Gwen was a surprise in this one， nicer than I expected but Matthew was an even bigger jerk than expected and that's saying something， considering I didn't have a high opinion of him before。 I knew the guy had issues but his actions in this book were beyond shocking and very revealing。 It's a good thing my favorite people continue to outwit the nasty tricks that the hateful trio comes up with。 Matthew is so obvious， Azbogah is a steady threat but what about Ethan？ I really don't get him but he is sure to cause more trouble。 The last few chapters of this book were wicked， the action and revelations were mind-blowingly good。 Ronnie gets answers about her past， Matthew's true intentions are revealed and it's another deadly battle with an HFN for my favorite characters。 Demon Blood was so fantastically written， I enjoyed it so much。 Ronnie's story wrapped up nicely but just like the Silver Wolf part of the Shadow City universe things are obviously not over。 I can only hope that all of my favorite people continue to have important roles in the next trilogy in the Shadow City universe。 。。。more

Alex and Ronnie find their HEA but I have a feeling there will be conflicts to deal with in the future。 Lots of action in this one with the whole group。 Loved seeing Ronnie and her newly discovered abilities。

Wow！ I am sure some people did not see that coming。 I enjoyed this third book in the trilogy with Ronnie and the gang。 The Vampires had been on the wrong path， but there were many who did not like the direction。 This answered a lot of the questions that were buzzing in my mind。 I am happy with the outcome and can’t wait to see what Jen has for us next。

I received an ARC for this book。 What an epic conclusion for this trio。 So much action。 The surprises will shock you。 I loved Ronnie。 She is so strong， loyal， loving， and resilient。 Alex totally redeemed himself from the first book。 He just needed Ronnie in his life。
